Each glucose or lactate sensor needs to be connected to a transmitter (RFID communication) which sends the data to a tablet on which an installed software allows to visualize them. These components (transmitters, tablet with software) are included in the Starter Kits.
CITSens Bio Starter Kit allows monitoring with in situ glucose or lactate sensors.
CITSens Bio APC Starter Kit allows not only monitoring, but also automated process control based on glucose concentration.
The use of CITSens Bio and CITSens Bio APC Starter Kit makes cell line selection easy and fast, allows optimized media & process development and improves science. The system increases product yield and gives you remote control of your cell culture process. Data can be integrated in all kinds of process control systems. To the Starter Kits a pump (micropump for small vessels/bioreactors or a peristaltic pump) can be connected directly to do media feed.
The glucose and lactate sensors are suitable for all kind of reactors, shake flasks and other single-use vessels
