C-CIT AG, Competence and experience for many years in the development of chemical sensors and biosensors
History of the Company C-CIT AG
C-CIT AG was founded in 2002 as a spinoff of ETH in Zurich, and has its roots in ETH’s Centre for Chemical Sensors (CCS). Founded by Professor Ursula E. Spichiger at the ETH in 1994, the CCS still serves as a source of know-how in the field of chemical sensor technology and as a point of contact between science and the market. CCS research work has been awarded many academic and public prizes. The launch of C-CIT AG in 2002 closed the gap between applied research, market-ready products and services in sensor technology. The founders, Prof. Ursula Spichiger, her son Dipl. Ing. FH Stefan Spichiger and six more specialists set themselves high aims. Quality assurance and the absolute determination to fulfil international requirements was a formative influence in the young company from the start. In 2006 C-CIT AG was awarded ISO certification.

C-CIT AG is conveniently located in Wädenswil on the left side of the Lake of Zurich and is easy to reach by car or public transport.. We are a part of the "GROW" platform which has their premises within the TUWAG area.
To the train station it is a 15 minutes walk and in only 5 minutes you can reach the lake. We are surrounded with a forest and a VITA-Parcour for the dayli fitness training.
By car
grow is about 20 minutes from Zurich by car. Take the A3 motorway from Zurich in the direction of Chur and exit at Richerswil. At the round abouts head towards the Waedenswil, then follow the map.By train
From Zurich main station the journey time to Waedenswil is 20-30 minutes with the S2 or S8. The S2 provides a direct connection with Zurich airport (journey time from Waedenswil approx. 35 minutes). Take the local bus number 125 to the Reidbach stop, near the Tuwag area.
